The Resource Development office furthers the mission of the college, in its current and future needs, by increasing public awareness and building support for CGCC students and the college. It provides staff assistance to the CGCC Foundation board.

Resource Development staff supports the CGCC Foundation's purpose, which is to advance and promote the interests and development of Columbia Gorge Community College, the students, faculty and the community. It researches and applies for grants and donations from public grantors, philanthropic organizations, individuals, businesses and industry partners. This purpose is accomplished by friend-raising, fund-raising, hosting special events and recognizing the important contributions of foundation volunteers and donors.
